Youth Sport Research is an independent knowledge platform dedicated to advancing the understanding of how the behaviours of parents, coaches and other adults shape children's experiences in sport.
We collect, analyse and communicate evidence to help create safer, more positive and more sustainable youth sport environments. Our work brings together original research, large-scale data analysis and evidence from the international research community to improve understanding of the social factors that shape children's experiences in sport.
By translating research into practical insights, reports and educational resources, we aim to support coaches, parents, clubs, governing bodies and policymakers in making evidence-informed decisions.
Our ambition is to become a trusted international source of knowledge for everyone committed to improving youth sport.
